Session Summary for Attendees:  The REST API has become increasingly important in the Oracle EPM landscape. For those of us with a limited programming background, getting started in REST “programming” can be intimidating. In this 30-minute session we’ll start with a high-level overview of REST—what is it and how it can be used. We’ll then explore the Advanced REST Client (ARC) and learn how REST requests can be built and tested through this simple, intuitive free application. We’ll conclude with a demo of executing an actual REST request using cURL, which is a free command line utility. By the end of this session you’ll be a REST superhero.
