Session Summary for Attendees:  Social login refers to using existing account information from social media networks, such as Google or Facebook, to sign into a third-party website—instead of creating a new account that is specific to that website. Oracle APEX introduced support for social login, based on OAuth2, in version 18.1. With APEX 19.1, OAuth2-based authentication has been extended to logging into the APEX Builder itself. In this session, we’ll explain how social login works, how to configure a social login app in Google and Facebook, and how to create an application in Oracle APEX that provides multiple forms of social authentication, in addition to using Oracle APEX accounts.
