Session Summary for Attendees:  This session will show data loading and deep dive into the new APEX_DATA_PARSER PL/SQL package, introduced with APEX 19.1. APEX_DATA_PARSER is a powerful PL/SQL tool to parse CSV, JSON, XML, or XLSX files. It detects not only column names but also data types, lengths, and decimal characters. Even for XML and JSON, attributes are detected and automatically mapped to columns.

The session will show how to work with that API and how to build powerful custom data loading pages in applications. Unlike the legacy Data Loading Wizard pages, this API allows you to easily build "one-click" data loading pages. Developers can focus on where to load the data; all low-level parsing and data-type conversions are done by Application Express.
