Session Summary for Attendees: There's a war going on in the world of front-end frameworks. React has had a steady rise to the top in the past couple of years. Its competitors, such as Vue.js and Angular, have failed to dethrone it. jQuery, the old king, is dying. Nonetheless, APEX heavily relies on jQuery behind the scenes. How sustainable can this be for the future?
React is an easy to learn, declarative, component-based front-end framework that could propel APEX to a whole new level in the market. This session is about:
• Getting started with React
• Basic features, syntax, and concepts
• Understanding React components
• Replacing jQuery code with React in an APEX app
Is this what the future of APEX front-end looks like?
