Session Summary for Attendees: A year into exploring the once-undocumented Essbase Cloud REST API, here is a follow-up presentation on how Oracle has gone about documenting the REST API and how we can use this tool. This API provides users with a number of integration capabilities—from simple updates of substitution variables to execution of data loads and calculation scripts.
In this iteration, however, we will be looking at some new tricks, including:
- Retrieving information from the API and testing your integrations.
- Performing dimension builds and individual member updates (adding/deleting/updating members).
- Data actions like loads, partitions, and others.
With demonstrations and samples, this session will go through examples of how to get the most out of your Essbase Cloud applications.
