Speaker Bio: Amit is a BI/EPM professional with extensive experience in implementing enterprise performance management solutions primarily based on Hyperion Planning and Essbase. He has been involved in numerous EPM projects in the US, the UK, and India. Prior to entering the exciting enterprise performance management field, Amit worked on data warehousing projects, where he obtained a solid experience in RDBMS and ETL systems. More recently, Amit has successfully implemented Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud solutions.
Amit currently works as a manager in Huron Consulting Group's EPM practice, where he is involved in managing projects and architecting EPM solutions. Amit brings to the table a unique blend of project management plus system design & development experience. He has been involved in projects with a pure onshore as well as onshore-offshore models. Amit has also been instrumental in setting up a managed services framework for a number of his customers thus ensuring that the customer's EPM solution is maintained, helping the customer realize its full potential
Amit is an Oracle certified Planning consultant and regularly contributes to his personal blog (epminsight.com). He also works as a volunteer at a foreign language school run by a non-profit organization and takes up numerous roles like teaching, managing a small library, and other administrative tasks at the school.
