Session Summary for Attendees:  In the beginning, there was the (Excel) chaos: multiple people having different methods to calculate a single KPI. Then centralized IT-driven analytical systems were introduced to provide the golden "unique source of truth" across the organization.

The evolution of IT-driven systems, however, was slow, with the time to KPI not affordable for business teams who started looking at a new wave of shiny self-service tools. The uncontrolled proliferation of self-service analytics brought the company back to chaos.

If you can picture yourself in the story above—then welcome, you are not alone! Join me on a trip to understand how to avoid the analytical chaos! We'll be discussing how various tools are approaching the problem and, based on various use cases, propose the best fitting solution.

Starting with data source definition and moving to data preparation and data replication, we'll touch on all the steps required to properly manage the data-to-KPI process. Moreover, we'll discuss how a unique platform like Oracle Analytics Cloud Enterprise Edition can support all the use cases in a connected, secured, and optimized way.
